Faded stripes are a liability, not just an eyesore
ADA stalls, fire lanes and traffic flow — what property managers get cited for.
Striping is the cheapest line item in pavement management and the one that gets a property cited fastest. Faded ADA stalls, unmarked fire lanes and missing access aisles are compliance problems, not cosmetic ones.
Current requirements cover stall width, access aisle placement, signage height and surface slope. A stall that was compliant when it was painted in 2009 may not be today.
Beyond compliance, layout drives revenue. A well-planned restripe often gains stalls without adding a square foot of asphalt, and clear directional flow reduces fender-benders in tight retail lots.
We restripe with commercial traffic paint after the surface is clean and sealed, and we phase larger lots so tenants stay open through the work.
